117. The Secret Revealed!
Ok, How can I put this delicately?
Flatulence is caused by sugar! It’s true. I’ve been carrying out a very precise experiment all last week and for the last three days I have eaten broccoli and brussels sprouts, and not had the slightest rumble or trapped wind.
I’ve discovered that the dreaded fart monster is only around in the presence of sugar. I will highlight the details of today’s diet later, and you will see that fruit is ok, and let’s face it – sugar is in many natural foods, and our bodies all need sugar, but ADDED sugar seems to be the main culprit.
I tried the experiment with baked beans, but it didn’t work the first time, as they are drenched in a cocktail of sugar and salt. I then tried beans rinsed in water and it worked. Try it for yourself. You’ll be amazed!
And like I said earlier, the consequences of cutting out all added sugar from a diet will drastically cut down the chance of many horrible diseases, not to mention keep weight down.
It takes a bit to get used to, and the hardest for me was cutting out all sugar from tea and coffee, so for now I just have green tea.
But how disciplined are you? My friend claimed to join my experiment, saying it didn’t work after only two days. Why? She’s been eating chinese food! It’s FULL of sugar! And all processed food is. I stuck to non-processed food, mainly fruit and veg (which most people associate with flatulence), protein and smaller quantities of complex carbs.
